On June 14th, McNally House Hospice hosted a Ground Breaking Ceremony to mark the step on their journey to provide compassionate palliative care to the communities of Grimsby, Lincoln and West Lincoln.
During the ceremony, Campaign Co-Chair, Murray Bain said “There is more work to do, more funds to raise, but we are on the home stretch. Beginning a campaign just before the pandemic and in its aftermath with high interest rates and inflation has been a challenge. But the community is rising to the challenge. The extraordinary generosity of our donors and our community support has brought us to this moment – it’s time to build!” said Murray Bain.
This call to action was answered by the McKeil Family Foundation who pledged an additional $250,000 to kick off the public portion of the campaign. This is in addition to the previous $1M pledged by the family.
